Holloway Road (A1) - The Great North Road, Nag's Head Junction and London Met University

Holloway Road forms part of the A1 - the historic Great North Road - running north from King's Cross through Islington and Holloway to Archway and beyond. In N7, the road carries approximately 30,000 vehicles per day past a continuous strip of shops, restaurants, the Odeon cinema site and London Metropolitan University's Holloway Road campus. The Nag's Head junction - where Holloway Road meets Seven Sisters Road (A503) and Parkhurst Road - is the commercial centre of N7 and one of North London's busiest intersections. Commuters park on every available side street - Camden Road, Tollington Way, Parkhurst Road, Palmer Place, Hornsey Street - for Holloway Road and Caledonian Road stations. The A1 dual carriageway provides TowManVan's fastest approach to N7, with technicians typically arriving at the Nag's Head in 16–19 minutes from King's Cross or 14–17 minutes from Archway.

02

Tufnell Park, Brecknock Road and the Northern Line Commuter Quarter

Tufnell Park occupies the north-western corner of N7, bounded by Holloway Road to the east, Dartmouth Park (NW5) to the west, and Archway (N19) to the north. Tufnell Park station - on the Northern line's High Barnet branch - sits on Tufnell Park Road and generates commuter parking on the surrounding streets. The residential streets - Brecknock Road, Dalmeny Road, Anson Road, Carleton Road, Huddleston Road - are lined with large Victorian terraces, many converted to flats. The area has a strong young-professional demographic who commute by Northern line to the City (Moorgate in 14 minutes) and use their cars sparingly. Vehicles parked for 5–7 days between weekend uses are the primary jump start candidates. The former HMP Holloway site on Parkhurst Road - closed in 2016 and being redeveloped into approximately 1,000 new homes - will add further residential parking demand once complete.

03

Caledonian Road, Market Road and the King's Cross Border

The eastern portion of N7 follows Caledonian Road (A1200) southward towards King's Cross, where it borders NW1 and N1. Caledonian Road station (Piccadilly line) generates commuter parking, and the surrounding streets - Market Road, Brewery Road, Twyford Street, Roman Way - have a mix of Victorian terraces and 1960s council housing with dense on-street parking. Market Road runs east–west between Caledonian Road and York Way, passing the former Caledonian Market site (now a housing estate). The King's Cross border area has experienced dramatic regeneration - the Coal Drops Yard development, Granary Square and the German Gymnasium restaurant are immediately adjacent in NW1 - generating some spillover parking into N7. TowManVan technicians reach Caledonian Road via the A1200 from King's Cross (5 minutes) or via Market Road from York Way.

04

Hornsey Road, Tollington Park and the Arsenal/Finsbury Park Border

Hornsey Road runs north–south through the eastern portion of N7, connecting Holloway to Finsbury Park (N4) and the Emirates Stadium. On Arsenal match days, the northern end of N7 around Hornsey Road, Tollington Road and Isledon Road absorbs significant supporter parking. The residential streets between Hornsey Road and Holloway Road - Tollington Park, Tollington Way, Enkel Street, Thorpedale Road - form a dense grid of Victorian terraces with intense resident-permit parking. The University of London's Holloway campus and London Metropolitan University both have students who drive in and park for the day, adding to the weekday parking pressure. TowManVan technicians approach the Hornsey Road area via the A1 from the south or via Seven Sisters Road (A503) from the east, with consistent arrival of 19–23 minutes.
